Hi, my name is Samantha and I am the owner and lead trainer of "Walk, Train, & Play Canine Services". I have always had a strong passion for animals. During my final year of high school my mom and I started fostering & volunteering at events for ARF, shortly after graduating I adopted my first dog Alley who was also my foster at the time. It was a year and a half later it was clear she developed some behaviour concerns, needless to say in that year Alley had taught me quite a few things about being a fur-mom. After seeing the struggles we have been through, how far we have come, and felt the deep connection we share knowing we are in this together one paw at a time, I knew I wanted to help people and their canines strengthen their relationship even when the path seems difficult. I have 6 years of experience in the animal field, including daycare, animal rescue, and veterinary clinics. I'm pet first-aid certified, and have taken the first part of the Dog Trainer certification program at Karen Pryor Academy called "Dog Trainer Foundations". I plan on working towards obtaining my CPDT-KA & CPDT-KSA Certification, and my full KPA Dog Training Certification.
